U.S. Army Golden Knights

Golden Knights

Cutting away a parachute on purpose. Passing a baton at 120 mph. Flying the American flag at 12,000 feet. Landing dead center on the target. The Golden Knights have been holding audiences in the palm of their hands all over the world with their feats of aerial acrobatics. Now in their 44th year of entertaining with their amazing aerial skills, the men and women of the Golden Knights continue to show why they are considered the world's best parachute team.

Seymour Johnson F-15E "Strike Eagle" Demo Team

F15E Demo Team

The F-15E Strike Eagle Demo Team is ACC's newest demonstration team, brought online in 2006. This exciting new team based out of Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C. displays the F-15E Strike Eagle's capabilities as a dual-role fighter designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. An array of avionics and electronics systems gives the F-15E the capability to fight at low altitude, day or night, and in all weather, as well as the capability to fight its way to a target over long ranges, destroy enemy ground positions and fight its way out.

F-22A “Raptor” Demonstration Team

Maj. Paul "Max" Moga and the world's only fifth-generation fighter aircraft will fly at this year's event. According to Major Moga, "The maneuvers look absolutely crazy, but I'm always in complete control of the aircraft." The F-22 Raptor is, and will remain, unprecedented in its total integration of stealth and advanced avionics. It quite simply is a revolutionary leap in lethality and survivability over any aircraft in production or design anywhere in the world.

ACC Heritage F-86/F-4/F-15E/F-22

ACC Heritage Flight

The USAF established the Heritage Flight program in 1997 to support the Air Force 50th anniversary. The exhibition features today's state-of-the-art fighters flying in close formation, such as the F-4 Phantom, F-86 Sabre, F-15E Strike Eagle and the F-22 Raptor. The Heritage Flight mission: To safely and proudly display the evolution of United States  Air Force air power and to support Air Force recruiting.

Combined Arms Demo F-15E/F-16/AT-38/KC-135

Combined Arms Demo

See mission commanders of the 4th Fighter Wing lead a strike package of multiple F-15Es, A-10s, and paratroopers to demonstrate directly in front of the air show crowd real-world battlefield tactics used to attack and secure an enemy airfield. Numerous explosions highlight this event.

Seymour Johnson is home to the 916th Air Refueling wing. The wing currently is home to eight KC-135. The 916th Air Refueling Wing supports routine refueling missions for other Air Force, Navy and Marine and allied aircraft under the direction of the 4th Air Force.

George Cline - Air Boss Inc.

George Cline

Since 1968 George Cline has safely coordinated many diverse aerial operations and events. Originally trained as a United States Air Force Air Traffic Controller, Cline has become one of the industry's premier Airbosses and is an ICAS Academy Instructor who teaches Advanced Air and Ground Operations for Airshows.



Hugh Oldham

Hugh Oldham

Hugh Oldham has a long history in the entertainment business and has been narrating airshows for well over a quarter of a century. He performed in his first airshow 1968, and his first house announcer gig was in 1976. Integrating experience, knowledge, enthusiasm and humor, Oldham's commentary is accurate and entertaining, designed to add to the spectators’ enjoyment.
